- The Genoese company Messina appoints Bergé as
ship agent in Spain

- The Genoa-based shipping company Ignazio Messina & C.
signed a multi-year agreement with Spain's Bergé
appointing her as a ship agent for all units of the fleet of the
Italian company making a stopover at Spanish ports, for a volume
expected activity of about 150 ships per year. In Spain
the fleet used by Messina in its network of
line generally makes stops at the ports of Algeciras, Barcelona,
Castellon and Valencia.
- The collaboration between Messina and Bergé dates back to the
1990s with the performance by the Spanish company
terminal services in the port of Barcelona on behalf of the group
