Northern Has Announced a New Measure to Streamline
stop and transit dangerous goods in the port of Livorno.
This is the specific regulation, which was approved by ordinance No.
2/2020, which will come into force on 1 June and which will
aimed at streamlitand and digitize both practices
permits for hazardous goods parking areas
within the terminals that those related to their destination
at the stop or direct boarding/landing.
- In particular, Article 6 stipulates that for each commodity
dangerous that circulates in port, intended for stopping or
boarding/landing, including transhipment, boarding/landing
commander of the ship, or the shipowner, or the maritime recommender
will have to transmit to the AdSP, at least six hours in advance
arrival of the goods in port, also informing them of the possible
a specific request, using the system
AdSP, which includes a series of
specific information about the dangerous commodity, a request that may be
be welcomed in the absence of expressed denial on the part
AdSP within the six-hour period.
- The Port Authority also pointed out that a more
discipline, compared to the previous one, of the modalities
hazardous goods management operations and improved
computerization of authorization procedures,
will also allow all authorities in various ways
consistent traceability and control thanks to the
predicting a computer system in which all
data relating to the type of goods, opinions issued by the
relevant authorities, emergency and safety cards
specific to the different types of goods and the exact
identification of their location.
