Maersk Group Buys Customs Shipper KGH Customs
The share capital will change hands for about 279
The Danish shipowner group A.P.
signed an agreement with the shareholders of the customs shipper
Sweden's KGH Customs Services to acquire the entire capital
company, which has 775 employees and is present in 12
European nations. 88% of KGH's capital is currently
held by investment firm Bridgepoint
Development Capital (BDC). The sale will be for 2.6
billion Danish kroner (279 million dollars). In conclusion
KGH transaction will remain an independent company
In 2019, KGH reported sales of approximately 890 million
Swedish kroner (95.5 million U.S. dollars) and an operating margin
160 million Swedish kronor.
